Citroën decided to release a very limited edition of the My Ami Buggy, a more stylish and quirky version compared to its well-known siblings in the Ami range. For the launch of this exceptional new model, 50 units were sold in less than 18 minutes on June 21, 2022, starting at noon. Buyers had the privilege of customizing the front plate of their My Ami Buggy. Due to its success, the My Ami Buggy sold out quickly, and even a billionaire couldn't get one. To prove it, Citroën playfully addressed Elon Musk, the future first trillionaire, through a witty campaign: 'Sorry Elon, the only way to get one is to buy us out.'
